need info on wyhndam seawatch villa's

We are discovery whyndam members and have to use up the last of our points we plan on staying there the first week of May, 1st what I want to know is if anyone knows how the weather will be? And if it is really busy then? My next question is does anyone know if you are oceanfront in the villa%26#39;s they all seem to be pushed back, and we where told we can%26#39;t request a certain room. From what I read in anothers post this is owned by a few different companies and whyndam only has 2 units in the towers, I think we will be stuck in the villas which is heartbreaking considering we really want an oceanfront room. Any info would be great

Hello.. I stayed at Sea Watch a few summers ago in one of towers. The resort is very nice with 2 large outdoor pools, 2 lazy rivers( 1 indoors ), a large indoor pool and many hotubs. There is also a bar and a restaurant on site. I remember seeing the villas some of them looked oceanfront or oceanview and they appeared pretty nice. They did not seem to me to be pushed to far back. The resort itself has a great location very close to many reaturants, barefoot landing and a super walmart. Good Luck!

myvacation09,

My family stayed in the Villas in 09/05 for a week. We, too, are owners. It was myself, hubby, 2 daughters (18mo %26amp; 3.5yrs at the time), and both of my parents. We had more than enough room for all of us in our 2 bed 2 bath condo. We loved it. I just can%26#39;t say enough good things about this resort. Our condo was very clean and was oceanfront since we were in Villa 2. Villas 1 and 3 are oceanview. I know some people have complained about the walk to the beach, but even with 2 small children in tow, we didn%26#39;t mind it at all. We always take our little red wagon to pack our beach gear in and pull it and the kids down to the beach. (Much easier this way.)Our view was spectactular--not just the beach, but of the resort grounds as well. I also enjoyed that I could sit on my balcony and watch my hubby and oldest daughter playing in the pool below while my baby slept in the condo. I took my oldest down to arts and crafts one day and she painted a tiny birdhouse that I still have decorating her bedroom. We also loved the location of SeaWatch. It was very close to a Wal-Mart grocery store, outlets, shopping mall and more. Parking was no problem at all--most of the time we parked under the villa. We will be taking our first trip back to MB this September (we%26#39;ve been doing Disney for the past few years) and we are staying at SeaWatch again, though we are trying the towers this time.

My Mom and Dad still refer to that vacation as the best ever beach vacation and I would have to agree with them. They will be going with us again and this time we%26#39;ll be taking our little boy who will be 3 by then(our little Seawatch souvenier. LOL!) I can%26#39;t tell you how many times I%26#39;ve been to the beach--I would say atleast 25 times--and SeaWatch is by far, my favorite resort. I only have 2 complaints--1 is there is no jacuzzi tub in the condo like most of the other Wyndham resorts, but that%26#39;s no big deal and 2 is that the staff can be a little pushy about meeting with owners (they say it%26#39;s to give you member updates, but the truth is they are just trying to talk you into buying more points) but they back off if you ask them to.

I hope you have as wonderful a time as we did. BTW, maybe they%26#39;ve changed, but I was able to request OF when I reserved back then. OV is fewer points, so make sure your points get credited back if you stay in villas 1 or 3. Also, I%26#39;m not sure, but I think villa 2 is only 2 bed 2 bath condos. The 1 or 3 bedroom condos are located in the other 2 villas as well as more 2 bedrooms.
