We%26#39;ll be staying on Folly Beach in April and would like to have 1-2 dinners/lunches there. We plan to be in Charleston for other meals during the week.
Any suggestions?
Our group is 2 grandparents, 2 parents and a teenager.
Would like a beach/water view.
Love seafood--prefer grilled over fried.
Any advice, Locklears vs Crab Shack?
Anything new or must-do?
Looking for Updated Folly Restaurant Reviews
Locklear%26#39;s and the Holiday Inn are the only 2 ocean view restaurants. I had brunch at Locklear%26#39;s the other week, and wasn%26#39;t overly impressed. I have heard good things about the food at the Holiday Inn, and the menu looks nice, however, have not eaten there. They have small plates as well as dinner entrees. Lunch menu is limited. Crab Shack is mostly fried food. Blue plate specials for lunch at the Shack, Follywood, and Center Kitchen, which is new and good. $8 for a choice of meat and 2 sides, mix and match, however, no seafood. $10 for a catfish plate.
