Need Updated Folly Beach Restaurant Suggestions

We%26#39;ll be staying on Folly Beach in April and would like to have 1-2 dinners/lunches there.

Any suggestions?

(We plan to be in Charleston for other meals during the week)

Our group is 2 grandparents, 2 parents and a teenager.

Would like a beach/water view.

Love seafood--prefer grilled over fried.

Dilikes: Loud, too fancy or too close to the low-end of the ';dives';.

Any advice, Locklears vs Crab Shack?

Anything new or must-do?

I have not been to Locklear%26#39;s on the pier, but I do regularly go to Locklear%26#39;s in Mt Pleasant. They offer a large selection and the view from the pier is awesome. Have fun.

I forgot about the Surf Bar. They have a wood burning oven/grill, and their selections change daily, but the food is very good, and they will usually have a grilled fish--if they don%26#39;t run out.

We%26#39;ve been to both Locklear%26#39;s, and the FB one is a little pricier as I recall and the food good but not as good as MtP. Of course, the view is MUCH better at Locklear%26#39;s Folly! We ate outside on the deck on a nice, not hot, early summer day. mmmmmmmmmm
