Early May Weather? And The Ocean Reef.

My boyfriend and I are first time MB vacationers, 23 %26amp; 22 years old. We%26#39;ll be staying at the Ocean Reef Resort in an Ocean View King Junior Suite, and I was just wondering if anyone else had stayed in one of these suites. If so, can you can really, actually see the ocean from the balcony? I don%26#39;t want to see just a slight sliver!

Also, we%26#39;ll be there the second week of May so I was wondering what the weather is like (80%26#39;s +?), and if the ocean water is warm enough to go swimming in!

Thanks a lot. :)

Although I%26#39;ve never stayed in that exact suite, I had an ocean view suite at the Ocean Reef and I had a good view and much more than a sliver. I%26#39;ve been there in April and I swam in the ocean. But, I guess I should take in account the fact that I swim in Lake Michigan which is often quite chilly. I assume in May, though, that most people would be comfortable in the water. The average temp. around that time is the upper 70%26#39;s

Thanks for the reply! I also have another (silly) question. Is the Ocean Reef Resort considered North Myrtle Beach, or what?

Thanks again!

No it is not North Myrtle Beach but, is close.
