Early September weather

We are considering a Kiawah Island vacation for the week of Labor Day. What weather conditions are typical of this area during early September?

Early September weather

Unless we are having a hurricane, the September weather is lovely! It%26#39;s hot and sunny, with somewhat lower humidity than in July and August. The ocean is WARM and great for swimming.

We vacation on Kiawah in September every year, because of some family birthdays. So far, we have had great luck with the weather; however, trip insurance is always a good idea during hurricane season.

It IS beautiful here that time og year. Just remember, though, if the evacuation is recommended, do it.

If you%26#39;re into kayaking, September is considered the best month of the year for paddling in the Lowcountry area...still hot enough, but not too hot. We love September!

You may be hitting Kiawah right, if you look carefully, for some rate reductions around Labor Day. There used to be lots of cheaper rates already available around Labor Day, because the SC kids go back to school earlier than some of the northern kids, but alas, over time, it was noticed that the Yankees were still coming, w/the kids, so the rates are still summer rates for the most part, but, like I said, look carefully, you might find a few who drop down in mid-August.
