Ocean Reef, Compass Cove or Beach Colony

We have 2 adults, 2 preteen boys (12 and 14)and their 87 yr. old grampa heading to MB for 4th of July week. Stayed in NMB at the Beach Cove Resort 10 yrs. ago.

Which of the above have the best?:

1)Landscaping

2)Pools

3)Location

4)Other things for preteens boys

We narrowed it down to these due to all three having an arcade and sauna. Ocean Reef and Beach Colony look like they also have some room options that have more than one window per room (and perhaps a wrap around balcony), which is definitely what mom wants.

We would have loved Dunes Village but cheapest price there is about 1500.00 more per week than these three. Considered Coral Beach as well but all bedrooms look to be in back of the layout (not OF). Also considered Long Bay.

Please help us pick....which is your favorite and why?

Ocean Reef, Compass Cove or Beach Colony

Ocean reef is a great property, and have tons of room types. Usually teens have a lot to do here. Long bay is next door and is almost the same but, Ocean reef is nicer.

Ocean Reef, Compass Cove or Beach Colony

I would go with Ocean Reef. The pool area is nice there. Compass Cove has a nice pool area too but I like Ocean Reef better because of location. Have you looked at Caribbean Resort? They have a new water park.

Is there a picture of the water park on the website? Is it for younger kids or would my 10yr old going on 20 yr old twins enjoy it?

thanks

I have not stayed there yet but, Caribbean waterpark looks fun.

Thanks to everyone. We did consider Caribbean but other than the waterslide, it%26#39;s website (and TA pix) didn%26#39;t make it stand out. What do you like about it?

For those who suggested Ocean Reef over CC or Beach Colony, what was nicer about it? The rooms/decor, landscaping, things to do, etc? How is the location the best of the three? Please remember it%26#39;s been 10 years since we%26#39;ve been there so don%26#39;t really know the ';better'; areas.

Ocean reef is in a more residental area, so IMO the beach is nicer.
