dress code for middleton place???

Well we have almost everything in place for our trip. We will have reservations at thr Middleton Place for dinner on Saturday evening and was wondering about the dress code. I want to make sure we are appropriately dressed, thanks!!

Ok, business caual as in tie and sport jacket? And as for me just how dressy do the women get?

First of all - it is MY pleasure to help.

As far as specifics on dress - let the weather help you decide - if it%26#39;s too hot no one would expect you to get overdressed. And I wouldn%26#39;t ever expect ';hose'; (under any condition except maybe at a job interview!) so sandals and a sun dress if that%26#39;s your thing - or - light slacks and a tank with light sweater would be fine. Men - again, weather plays a role - an oxford-type shirt and neat slacks and belt (think ';preppie'; if that works for you as a reference) and you%26#39;ll be fine most places. Walking around the city on a hot day or on the Harbor Cruise to Ft. Sumter - definitely go more casual and don%26#39;t forget footwear that is comfortable! Nice shorts and a loose shirt are fine when it%26#39;s hot. The streets can be rough on the pedicure!

For touring the planation during the day you will see everything. During the day in the restaurant, it is tourist casual.

Evening in the restaurant is more upscale but nothing too formal. Do take a light jacket even in warmer weather because air conditioning in all the restaurants and even the cool breezes on the rooftop bars can be chilly.
