first timers here. planning on going around sept 12th. would like to rent a house right on the beach. we have three kids 3 and under. What is the beast area to stay in?
where to stay?
i think you will have better luck finding a house in North MB, it%26#39;s not quite as comercial as MB on the beach side. It%26#39;s only a few minutes from one to the other the 2 cities really run together. That%26#39;s where we usually stay in a condo and there are alot of houses near by. During my recent research it looks like elliott rentals may have the most to choose from. Depending on your budget will depend on if you stay on the beach or 1 to 2 streets over. There are alot of public beach access areas should you not stay right on the water, but i would think rates wouldn%26#39;t be to bad in Sept.
where to stay?
You can find great prices in Sept. Most of the houses are for larger groups. Renting a condo might be a better option if it%26#39;s just your immediate family. Just south of MB is Surfside Beach. It%26#39;s a nice, quiet, family area with lots of condos to choose from. We%26#39;ve used vrbo.com several times %26amp; had good luck with it.
I would agree that Surfside is a nice family area. Lots of homes and condos to choose from - minus all of the highrises found in the rest of Myrtle Beach.
North Myrtle Beach is family oriented and Elliott Reality has many homes on the beach.
