drive or water taxi to patriots point??

Ok . . . my brain is officially fried! :) There is too much to see and do to only stay one week . . hmm may have to consider an extension :) I would love anyones opinions on the trip to Patriots Point. We will have a rental car for three days of our trip but I just noticed the water taxi. I checked and it would only be 16 total for both of us round trip to and from Patriots Point. Has anyone had any experience with them? It sounds pretty neat and very reasonably priced.

It%26#39;s only a 10 minute car ride from downtown. You may want to take a harbor sunset cruise or dinner cruise for your boating adventure (again, forget the Morris lighthouse boat tour).

...or the Ft. Sumter tour, which of course must be done by boat!

If you really wanted to be adventurous, you could actually walk. (weather permitting) It%26#39;s a nice walk over the bridge, and once you%26#39;re on the other side it%26#39;s convenient. (This is only for people who love to walk and have comfortable shoes!)

Im sorry guys, but im still a little confused as to whether you can walk to the Morrison Lighthouse from the end of Folly Beach.

This should answer your question as to whether or not you can walk there...

Driving across that bridge is really fun....

I would drive to Patriot%26#39;s Point and then go to Fort Sumter. Then, take a sunset cruise. For a good view of Morris Island Light, drive to Folly Beach and walk out to where you can see it. You can%26#39;t actually get to it, as far as I know, but you can get good photos.

This company says it offers boat tours of Morris Island, from which you can get good views of the lighthouse.
