Oceans One or Sandy Beach

I am having a very difficult time deciding between these two resort. We are going the last two weeks in June, and I currently have a reservation at SBR which is where we stayed last year. I guess I sort of want something different but at the same time am hesitant to try something new when I know for sure SBR was nice. Oceans One pool and beach area was less crowded last year, but possibly that was because it had just opened? Any opinions will help.

Oceans One or Sandy Beach

We%26#39;ve been staying at the Sandy Beach for several years now. The one thing we noticed about Oceans One while sitting on our balcony last summer- their poolside chairs are dark brown and get very hot out in the sun. We had lots of laughs watching people plop down on those hot chairs and then jumping up and puting a towel under them or pouring water on them. Even after they had been in the chairs for a while if they moved and let bare skin touch an exposed part of the chair they would jump or jerk. I don%26#39;t know what Oceans One was thinking when they bought dark colored chairs for poolside.

We have stayed at Oceans One and their rooms are pretty nice. Some things in the hotel need attention but the price was good and loved the panoramic view. If you are going to stay at that end of the beach the view at Oceans One is great. The one thing that would have been a concern, if we had our children with us, is in the one bedroom you have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. The room is nice and new and great for a couple.

Thanks. That makes my mind up for me. We have small children who go to bed earlier than my husband and I do. We would not be pleased with that layout at all. Thanks for the information. Now I am sure we made the right choice. Thanks again.
