Magiquest/Myrtle beach state park

MaqiQuest-read good and bad reviews. Kids are 10-11. Will they enjoy it? Does each kid need a wand? If I want to participate do I need a wand? Basically, is it worth the expense?

Myrtle Beach State Park-

I read that if we wanted to find nice sea shells we should go here. Is it worth visting and will I really find nice shells here?

MagiQuest was expensive and really not that amusing. Kids could share a wand. We would not go back again.

Well I%26#39;m 23 and I love Maqiquest!!!

I will admit it takes me about 1/2 hour to get used to working the wand each time I go, (I have only been twice: summer 07 and 08)

the funniest thing is always having 7-8 yr olds teaching me how to use the wand and I usually teach parents over the age of 40 how to use the wand (LOL!)

$25.99 is what it costs for 75 mins of gametime

make sure you keep you and your kids keep your wands because return trips cost only $19.99 for 75 mins of game play

and they have 10 locations all over the USA and even a couple in Japan!

(I%26#39;m going to the one near Cincinnati this summer)

the best part is the wand is good at any of the locations.

grandparents are free admission (w/o wand)

so you maybe able to convince someone, most of the people that work there are high-schoolers anyway.

for $4.95 anyone can get as a Magi-Guide and have your own ancient book of wisdom which is the 2nd most important item to have.

you can pay the $24.99 + $4.95 and have your kids share one wand

It may seem a little expensive put besides mini-golf, and movies it%26#39;s the most affordable entertainment option in MB!

Maqiquest is basically a scavanger hunt, so if your kids enjoy scavanger hunts then they will

definitely enjoy Maqiquest :)

the website is www.magiquest.com

I have a 16 yr old DD and 11 yr old DS and they love it. Definitely keep the wands for future visits. They can share if you think they will have fun doing it that way. It%26#39;s something new and fun and like was said earlier is one of the least expensive forms of entertainment in MB.
